In the studio in the suburbs of Beijing, almost a whole wall is hung with dried lotus pods, just like her bronze sculptures, which are brown in color and new in shape. She is famous for her works of calligraphy, such as "the inside and outside of the calligraphy" of the famous painter As a result, she has attracted the attention of the sculpture industry, and has been listed as a nominated artist in 2015 by Chinese contemporary art literature. Yinping's father likes painting. Influenced by him, Yinping has taken up the brush since she was a child. With her talent and diligence, she was admitted to the Central Academy of Arts and crafts.

 

However, the road of art is not easy for Yinping. In 1998, after two years of silent preparation, she decided to hold her first solo exhibition. The exhibition costs money, and the cost of bronze sculpture is very high. But Yinping should be strong, and we must do what we believe. She asked relatives and friends for help and borrowed more than 100000 yuan, which was undoubtedly a "huge sum" at that time. Mother worried for her: how can you repay the money? Yin Ping believes that "there must be a market for good works.". The exhibition was as well received as she expected. Some people want to collect her works, but the young female artist is suddenly reluctant to give up. Those works are all hammered out by themselves. How can we say goodbye to them? In the end, none of the works was sold. Afterwards, she was somewhat depressed, but her heart was full of hope when she thought that someone liked it. Reason must prevail over emotion. Money is needed to pay off the debt and money to continue to create. Yin Ping finally takes the initiative. She picked up her bag and boarded the bus and "searched" along the way. As long as she saw the halls and offices under construction, she got off to ask: do you need bronze sculptures? "At that time, young, ignorant and fearless, some aggressive." It seems like looking for a needle in a haystack, but I didn't expect to have a harvest. A company saw her qualifications and pictures of her works, and signed an 8 square meter relief production contract with her. This is enough to let Yinping harvest the joy of success. From then on, she began to do public sculpture. From the initial design, the drafting of the contract to the production and installation of the works, each link should be personally done. For artists who demand perfection, this is not a happy process, or even a kind of suffering, "because to be perfect, you are worthy of your heart." Once, a copper relief was installed for a building. The wall was made of aluminum-plastic plates, and the scaffold could not be overlapped with the wall. Without any auxiliary points, the height should be 30 meters. Yinping had to ask the scaffolders to support and reinforce the scaffold, and the relief was installed as scheduled. One day, two days After more than ten days of installation, Yinping always stayed at the construction site, looking up to see the scaffold shaking slightly, and her heart was holding fast. Her neck is sore and her voice is hoarse. Party A advises her to go into the room and drink some water. Yin Ping shakes her head. She doesn't have to worry about it Yin Ping devoted herself to the best presentation of her works. The success of the work brings more opportunities. The relief sculptures of the office building of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, the large-scale relief of the Three Gorges group, the Yellow River civilization of Shandong Yellow River Art Museum, and several bronze sculptures from the Beijing Museum of natural history Yin Ping has completed a series of big productions with momentum and weight. In recent years, Yin Ping has increasingly turned to personal creation. Time and experience accumulated into the wealth of life, and then people have more tolerance and understanding of things, the artist's creative perspective gradually from the outside to the inside. If public art is more to meet the needs of customers, then the most important thing for personal creation is to express yourself. "Works must first move yourself, then they can infect others." Not long ago, Yin Ping created a sculpture. Faced with the shapeless clay sculpture, she was stunned and immersed in it: "I look at you, but I am moved by you..." She expressed in poetry the moment when she was moved by her works.Works externalized in the form; spirit fit but internalized in the heart.

Yin Ping likes poetry, Pablo Neruda, Xu Zhimo, Lin Huiyin, Haizi... I prefer the power of Eileen Chang's words... the women she sculpts are often as beautiful as a dream.
